Head of Communications & Registrations – Integration Weekend

The WEI (Integration Weekend) is a key event for newcomers at INSA Lyon, featuring unforgettable parties and activities designed to foster lifetime connections. While the WEI creates lasting memories, its organization is extremely demanding. Every detail is carefully planned to ensure a safe, inclusive, and highly enjoyable experience for everyone.

The WEI welcoming 400+ students is a crucial milestone for newcomers at INSA Lyon.

As Head of Communications and Registrations, my role was to promote the event and streamline the registration process. I managed over 400 security deposits for the campsite bungalows and handled €30,000 in expenses. The organization required collecting parental authorizations for underage students and allocating hundreds of bungalows based on precise criteria, negotiating rates and availability with the owners. During the event, I dealt with last-minute issues such as housing conflicts or cancellations. Communication played a key role in attracting participants, keeping them informed, and generating excitement. I carried out drone footage, secured government authorizations, and used professional photo/video equipment.

I managed €30,000 in expenses, allocated hundreds of bungalows, and designed creative communication using drone footage.
